What this site is
This website is a static storefront. Soul Casket Records does not operate user accounts, does not keep a customer database through this website, and does not ask you to create a login.
What we do not collect
The website itself does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, fingerprinting, or marketing analytics. There is no Google Analytics on this site.
What stays in your browser
If you change the language, that choice is saved in your browser so the site can remember it next time. That stays on your device. The site may also keep a short-lived browser cache of translations and, when needed, a short-lived record of a country lookup.
Country check for checkout
US checkout goes through PayPal. International orders are not fulfilled through this storefront. To tell those cases apart, store pages may ask a third-party service (currently geojs.io or ipapi.co) which country your connection is coming from. Those services see your IP address so they can return a country code. Soul Casket does not store that result on its own server.
Fonts, video, and payments
The site loads a typeface from Google Fonts. The Autopsy Report page can embed a YouTube video. Product pages can embed a Bandcamp player so you can listen here; that player is served by Bandcamp. Store pages load PayPal’s cart script so you can pay on PayPal’s site. This website does not handle payment card information. PayPal, Bandcamp, Big Cartel, and any other shop you leave this site to use have their own privacy practices.
Links to other sites
The site links to Instagram, Metal Archives, Bandcamp, Big Cartel, and other places. Those services are not run by Soul Casket Records. If you follow a link, their privacy policies apply.
If you write to soulcasketrecords@gmail.com, we see whatever you send and use it to answer you. That mail is not collected by a form on this website.
