Physical Formats
Soul Casket issues every format in limited runs. Tapes and packaging are dubbed and assembled in-house. Lathe cuts are sent to outside manufacturers. What follows defines each medium.
Lathe-Cut Vinyl
Lathe cuts are produced through dedicated manufacturers: one disc per pass, etched live from source. Not stamper-pressed. SCR-006-R (Sukkubys) is the maiden lathe issue on the label.
- Cut by manufacturer, not in-house. Each unit cut individually; variance between copies is expected.
- Surface noise, intermittent crackle, and attenuated volume relative to factory pressings.
- Single jacket configuration. Lathe orders dispatch toward month's end.
Cassette / Ferric Tape
Catalog tapes are dubbed in-house. Blank shells from AtoZAudio or thrift store stock. SCR-R entries are live captures cast direct to ferric.
- Hand-applied labels; inserts and J-cards printed in-house where applicable. Shell condition varies with source.
- Listed quantities (e.g. 15) denote the complete edition.
CD-R
CD-R issues burned and assembled manually. Artwork via inkjet or screen print per title.
- Not glass-mastered compact discs.
- Compatible with standard drives; store as any optical media.
